Stadio Artemio Franchi tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a place where football history and vibrant atmosphere collide? Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence is just that spot. This iconic stadium has been the heart of Fiorentina since it opened in 1931, and it’s not just about the beautiful game but also the stories it holds. Walking into the stadium, you can almost hear the echoes of passionate fans singing their hearts out during matches. Believe it or not, it hosted the 1990 World Cup game between England and Belgium, which is pretty cool if you ask me. The stadium also boasts a special section for fans with disabilities, making sure everyone gets to cheer and celebrate. The seats, especially some of the older cement ones, give you that vintage vibe, like stepping back in time. Getting there is a breeze, just walk over the Vecchio Bridge from Pitti Palace or take a stroll from the San Marco Convent, heading up Viale Giovine Italia or along Battisti Street, and you'll be at the gates in no time. Whether you're a die-hard Fiorentina supporter or just looking for a unique sports experience in Florence, this stadium never disappoints. Honestly, catching a game here feels like being part of something bigger, Florence’s pulsating heart of sport and passion.
